Although this is an older thread...I would first do the simplest thing...and that would be to take the 11 digit part nbr from the sensor...then look it up in one of the online part database sites like:
Or if you don't have access to the wheel sensors...look up the BMW model (your e70 X5 and then the F15 X5) then go to the Wheel diagrams and get the correct 11 digit BMW part nbr for the wheel sensors for each model...then do a part nbr search to see if both models use the same sensors with the same part nbrs.
It will probably be about 5 minutes of your life to do this simple check...because I don't think the E70 LCI and F15 share the same TPMS sensors. But in case I'm wrong...the part database should verify if they are usable on both platforms.
