Hi guys

Just a question for the oil gurus out there.

I have a 2007 x3 2.0d(last of the m47 model motor). I am getting a really good price on the original Mercedes oil with a 229.51 rating and it's the same weight(5W30) which I use on my Bmw currently. Would I be able to use this oil in my x3? I am currently using the original bmw oil but only the LL01 spec, not the LL04.

Any advice will be appreciated, I don't want to damage my car.
