Would it still be as sketchy on win XP?
I have it doing what I said on win 10 but most control units are "no response from control unit" but I get engine codes, can clear codes, can reset engine and trans adaptations, and I can get a lot of the green bar things to work like looking at vanos timing and such..
I have 7 on my computer too and thought about trying it there but have been having wifi/ethernet driver issues because I haven't updated it in like 2 years..
I went to put XP on my computer but it failed, either I got a bad iso or someone told me about having to install the oldest one first but I think that was just to get the new multiboot options and I could just accomplish that with grub I think and maybe just fix that with bootrec from 10 or IDK..
Anyway I think I am just going to try it on 7 unless you guys thing that XP is like the only way to go..
I want to do it right.. Where do you suggest I start a fresh install?
