I am changing my axle shaft passenger side on jacks stands. Not much height, and I PRAY I do not have to remove the metal plate below.

Need tips on how to pry this thing out of tranny with the small opening I have.

Seen the videos and other tips and understand some got lucky...

Just wondered if any of you used a tool or specific length rod to tap out?

Appreciate the help...up in air without a paddle.
