rubber clamps on the intake boots how did they do it?

I was replacing my disa valve the other day and since it's my 3rd time to remove it I'll just go ahead and check/clean the IAC valve and throttle body. 2 things that strike me most.. the rubber clamps screw heads are all pointing down and was asking myself if the guys who did it before were using some kind of tool to tighten them. I was able to slip a small box wrench on the IAC clamp and loosen it slowly but for the throttle intake I have to get a long screwdriver and access it down under (what a PITA) I re-installed them all facing up and easily accessible.

iac clamp pointing down and I was able to slip in a small box end wrench..

throttle body clamp pointing down and space is an issue here from the top because of the vacuum pipe.
