Since what you wrote doesn't answer the questions below...may I ask to get clarification as to what may be going on?

When the light illuminates...and you check the dipstick (you have checked the dip stick, right?)...what does it read? Is the oil registering between the min & max lines on the oil dipstick? Is it nearer the minimum line? Is it nearer the maximum line? Or somewhere in the middle?

Do you have proof of how much oil was used to refill when it was changed? An oil change doesn't necessarily mean that the correct amount of oil was replaced.

As described in the section from the owners manual below...the amount of oil registering between the min & max lines is approx 1.1 quart (1 liter)...so if your dipstick is showing oil level near the minimum level...you may need up to about a liter of oil to prevent the "low oil level" light from illuminating:



{the 4.6is will need the same amount of oil as the 4.4 & 4.8is: quarts or 8 liters}
