May be a stupid question, but after you put in a new battery into the remote, did you reset the remote by pushing the button on the back, the button on the front you want to use, and then re-link it to the garage door opener using the learn button? Only asking because sometimes I know taking out battery and putting new one in, they dump their settings. Then go thru the process of linking the remote to the car?
