Hi all,
For what it’s worth, the Homelink bridge / repeater solved the problem for me. I found the remote for the one I have and it immediately worked with the Homelink buttons on the mirror. I did also have to use the “learn” button after on the opener, just as instructions suggest, but it all went smoothly. Looks like LiftMaster or Chamberlin with yellow antenna wire + BMW = bridge needed. More or less. Hope that helps!
