I generally buy run flats so that if my wife gets a flat solo or with my daughters in the car, it is not a big deal. If it is a big deal, we have AAA.
And if I get a flat, I'd rather keep rolling.
There are a couple more reasons than that, but that's good enough to stop there. I am not attracted to 20" staggered wheels, though some look nice.
