So resistors are not needed if you plan on coding for them. Resistors are just to fool the car in to thinking its a normal bulb and working right.
That's what I was thinking as well, but I wasn't sure if the resistors reduced the heat of the actual bulb or served another purpose. Not trying to fry the lens or anything. Thanks for the feedback!
