I have the same symptoms as you; I lose pedal quickly after coming to a stop and then it's like I'm trying to compress concrete. If the check valve were bad would I still be holding almost 30in of vacuum? If all I need to do is replace this vacuum line because the valve is bad, I'll be more than ecstatic. I'm just not 100% on how this valve is supposed to work.
