Hmm. Sorry to hear about that. But it does pair. I am not sure how I got the FAVORITES to transfer. The first two-three weeks of having the ULF -522 installed in the E46, I would get PLEASE WAIT. One time, I did have the Bluetooth ON, but the "phone" was NOT on and then I turned on the phone after the car started and next thing I knew, my favorites transferred.
In the E53, the Treo 650 transferred to the ULF-522 in the X5 after 1 week or so later. I agree, there is something funny with the Treo with the phone book transfer.
My wife's RAZR transferred the phone book within seconds after it was paired in both cars.
