I think the way to go is an aftermarket electric fan with an adjustable temp control. I have been running one for a few years now. Purchased fan that puts on way more CFM than needed even for Texas summers. The front electric fan is still in place. The temp control on the aftermarket fan is set to come on just before the front fan does. I have it wired so it continues to cycle after the engine is off until the radiator temp stays below the temp setting. I did a how to thread---Replaced clutch fan with electric fan.
