I've opened up about 4-5 front doors and now have to fix my rear door handle carrier so I'll be doing another soon .

The important tips from my experience:

1) as opposed to all cars I've worked on the top edge does not "hook onto" the frame, if pulls directly sideways towards the car's midline.

2) cut through the vapor barrier glue with a razor knife it will "heal" back together almost good as new.

3) I don't disconnect the airbag so i have no chance of needing to reprogram (through with my new scanner I could): I flip the airbag backwards and use a screw to hold it fast to the door but out of the way. (One edge barely on the door, most of the airbag out past the back edge of the door)
