Right. Got it sorted.
Turned out to be a power drain from the tracker. It was draining the battery too much apparently so the ecu decided to disable the alarm thinking the driver won't be able to re-enter the car or that the alarm would drain even further.

Unplugged the tracker and charged the battery up, voila! All is back to normal.
Now just realised the sunroof has decided to stop working yay(!) never ends.
