I use 1080 3M good quality vinyl materials from
www.metrorestyling.com. I have been wrapping parts for few years now. Removing the airbag and controls are easy and doing so would bring clean results. Here's my work on my E90 and E46. I haven't started on my X yet and still in my queue and it's been overdue.
