There is literally no blind spot. I can see the entire hood of a car that is overtaking me before it's out of the mirror (was going to say blind spot but this mirror doesn't have one).

Added bonus: you can use the vertical line as a reference for passing: when the car you're passing has one headlight in the non distorted part of the mirror you are maybe half a car length ahead.

When the entire car is out of the distorted edge, you will be about two car lengths ahead it's a very comfortable distance.

If DOT weren't morons they would require this type of mirror
