I gave up on lookiing for a fix for that. You can stick your finger in there and push that flap up so you can release the armrest. After doing that so many times I gave up and I literally just broke that flap off (flap on the actual latch of the back seat, not the armrest latch) so that the armrest can be free without pushing any buttons. So much better this way anyway. That lock is so unnecessary.
