Clockwork is on a distinguished road
Ok so I finally got my 2" long, 3.625" (aka 3 & 5/8ths or 92.08mm) I.D. silicone hose from www.siliconehose.com (Flex Technologies) and I installed today.

I noticed on the factory air intake tube there are 3 small raised nipples that I trimmed down to the same diameter as rest of factory air tube OD.
See pics of me pointing to one of three and then I point to the barrier that I push the silicone hose up to and LIGHTLY tighten a hose clamp on. Too much tightening and the factory air tube crumples. I'D LIKE TO FIND SOMETHING THAT CAN ADD INTERNAL STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY AT OPENING OF BENT FACTORY AIR TUBE BEFORE I PUT 2" SILICONE HOSE ON (just to reduce the possibility of tightening the clamp too much and therefore crushing the hose), ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Installing:
I push the 2" silicone hose onto the E70 throttle body and push till the 2" silicone hose on till it bottoms out at the 4 black 10mm TB bolts (just past the shiny metal rim). slide 2 hose clamps on this now.
---The 2" silicone hose I purchased works perfect!
But you can see how tight things are in my pics and how much my hose from the Dinan air box has to bend to accommodate the install of 2" silicone hose.---
then slide the factory air tube and MAF with the Dinan reducer hose onto the Dinan CAI with clamp but do not tighten, and then push the other end of bent factory air tube into the 2" silicone hose.
Now to tighten clamps in this order.
I tighten the clamp on the TB first, then I go to the other end now, on the Dinan CAI box, and I pull the Dinan reducer hose, MAF and bent facort air tubing assembly away from the box (but not off the connector) and watch closely how the bent factory air tube sits flush into the 2" silicone hose, (hose clamp on this still not tightened yet) and once I'm happy that the fitment of the bent factory air tube is perfectly seated in the silicone tube, I tighten the hose clamp on the Dinan CAI box outlet, then lightly clamp the silicone/bent factory air intake connection.

Note that you will have to trim the arc of the plastic black wire/cable holder that sits on bottom right bolt of throttle body, if you want to continue using.

Now to what you want to know.
With my Dinan air box, aftermarket Mapping by a local tuner, using a Pedal box set to the Green dot (linear setting), and after resetting the throttle body upon install, the vehicle is TORQUIE from a Dead stop!
During motion, the TB seemed to be a bit more responsive than just the 4.4 throttle body but nothing crazy.
I did not test with a Dyno what power was and I do not intend to now, as what is the point now since I have no baseline for my exact vehicle

For the price is say do it.
