Here are three great online part databases every BMW owner should have at their access. Click any of the links and enter the last 7 digits of your VIN (or select the appropriate info that describes your BMW) and you can then use either the search fields (typing in a key word), search using a part nbr, or work your way through the multiple diagram groups.

Using the BMWfans.info site...I selected a generic e70 X5 3.0 (hopefully you don't have a diesel...you don't mention your model)...and then I typed "charcoal" in the USAGE searchbox and this is what comes up:
Search result: charcoal ... if you click the link it reveals multple diagrams with "charcoal" in the name...and one of them is the diagram you see below.
