I don't have the red tool on my 2012 so it may have changed how to release the brake for the 2012 models. If you don't have that tool, I think this video shows you how to do it from underneath the car

THANKS!!! For the Youtube video. My X quit in my garage just now. Going to try to jump it but if it does not work I am going to have to get her in neutral and pull her to the street for flatbed towing. Thanks again!!
