Doing a refresh and purchased a new Lower Radiator hose (17127578703) as part of the process. The hose had an extra fitting on one end to allow connection of another smaller hose. This smaller hose is not used on the E70. A 171277991284 "LOCK" is supposed to be fitted to blank the hole but I was not supplied one and it is not listed on the online diagrams. Took my local dealer parts department to dig around on their computer to get one ordered.
BMW usually mark new parts that require added parts to work but missed it in this case.
The original hose is now a redundant part number and did not have this extra fitting.
