I had an E34 Touring with M5 Throwing stars wheels on it. Took it to have the tires replaced. When they brought the car to me, I looked at the installation and told them they had two of the wheels on backward. They told me the tire are directional and the installer installed them correctly. I told them to look at the throwing stars and the direction they would be turning. They said that they could just flip the wheels around so that the throwing stars will be turning in the right direction. I asked about the directional tires will they be turning in the right direction? At that point, he called his installer and told him what the problem was. They had to unmount them and remount and balance them.
