Good day!
There are only two things that keep an engine from running (petrol)... Fuel and spark...
There is only one thing keeping an engine from running (diesel)... Fuel... At least that is what I have heard.....
Test... turn the key on and off a few times before trying to start it to see if it is a fuel priming issue... The starting with fluid keys into the idea you have a lack of fuel pressure... Taxing that low fuel pressure by pressing the accelerator to the floor also points to low fuel pressure... You have pressure, but not enough initially to start it NOR enough to go full throttle when driving... Check the fuel pumps or fuel pump controls... Relays, connectors, pumps, grounds, or EWS...
