Where I live, it is basically a 3000lbs(1400kg) limit for towing without trailer brakes. I only tow a few motorcycles in a 12" enclosed, so am well under that limit.
However, I do intend on adding a trailer brake and going with the Prodigy RF.
Having said this, my e70 tows my bikes and trailer effortlessly.
