A quick 15 second check on one of the online part databases reveals that the e70's rear Roundel is NOT 82mm because the front Roundel (#1 in the diagram) is 82mm & when you click on the part number...you see that it is the traditional Roundel size that is used on multiple generations of BMWs going back to the some BMWs from the 1970s. But the rear Roundel (#2) has a different part number and is only used on the e70 X5.

If you google the rear Roudel's 11 digit part number...you may find that some vendors may have its circumference listed. Click the link below to get the part number...then type "BMW xx xx x xxx xxx" (where x=the BMW part number) into a google/internet search box to possibly find its true circumference (unless you have a caliper handy to measure it).
