So I searched, but didn't find any topics on how to remove the OEM plastic dead pedal and replace it with an ///M dead pedal. I tried to pull the old pedal straight out, but that didn't work. Then I tried to wedge a big screwdriver and force it from left to right, but that didn't work.

Anyone replaced their dead pedal, and can share DIY instructions?
