Mine have heat. lumbar & active headrests but no thigh support. Very similar to what I had in the E53 (sans active headrest), which I always thought were very comfortable (70k miles in 3 years). Thing is, they just aren't very comfortable in the E70. Maybe another 7 yrs of my big butt would help, but would rather have that comfy BMW foam & leather hugging me now.

The donor seats look like ventilated comfort seats from what looks like a 4.8 M-sport. I could live without ventilation if not plumbed for it, but was mostly asking about the coding. Nothing happens in this E70 without the consent of HAL (seems deserving of another authoritarian-German name

) which is new to me.
