Hi all,

when starting my car (2009 X5 3.0d M-sport) I get a red "service" light & if i scroll through it is the emissions that is the problem, it doesnt stay on it clears when i switch the engine on, recently i have made a lot of short journeys, for a month or so i doubt i have driven more than 3 miles in a single journey, do these cars have the DPF that needs cleared by driving for a while at 50-60 mph ? or any other idea's before i take it to the garage ? Ta.
