Ty. The seal is so much nicer as far as road noise and tightness of the glass.
This also seems to have fixed my sunshade rattle. I figured out what it was during disassembly. It is the metal screen that sits between the two halves. It was flapping against the panels. Now with new thicker material, it no longer does this.
All in all super happy with the result.
