My experience with my M5 in what is probably a narrow garage similar to yours required two jacks. The first one is used to lift the car using a front jack pad high enough to remove the wheel. Once that is done, go from the side, at an angle if necessary, to get to the center jack point with the second jack. Continue lifting the car with that second jack, remove the first jack when able and place it on jack stands as desired. I probably had less than two feet on either side if I remember correctly.
