Just to verify (because it wasn't covered)...has power to the car been removed (like battery cables disconnected) since the time the turn indicator's BC button stopped working?
If so, then all you need to do is reprogram the OBC features you want to appear in the cluster display. The 20-digit alpha numeric display in the high cluster has 1st priority to the Check Control System. The fact that the OBC features can be displayed there is a fringe benefit...because the "main" display for the OBC is the MID or the Nav screen.
To re-program the OBC features to appear in the high cluster's 20-digit alpha numeric display...press & hold the BC button until you see
PROG appear:
...then depending on if you have the MID or the Nav screen...make the selections on the aforementioned component you have in the order you'd like them to scroll through when you press the turn indicator's BC button.
When you've finished...press
SET (if you have the MID)
...or
MEMORIZE (if you have the Nav screen)...you can see the OBC features that have been "checked off"...they are the ones that will appear in the "scroll" when the BC button is pressed:
