Dual power source isn't necessary, you could get away with just one. But If you wanted to charge a phone it's nice to have the second port. Firefly was purchased off Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It's a great setup, if you want fully cordless functionality. It connects automatically when you enter the vehicle (if your BT is on your phone). Simply select mode until AUX and boom In addition, if can simply be unplugged and the tray can be closed.
