Well as I park the car and look over all my work and the units themselves, I have to say I am very happy with them. Everything operates just as it should and looks very good installed. They sound good on rotation and lock back in with zero play.
Looking back, I had bought 2 different "good used" sets last year of fleaBay and found both times the "good used" sets were complete garbage. Both fleaBay sellers refunded my money even with return shipping so real loss other than a huge disappointment for me. I priced new from FCP Euro and it was going to be a little over $500 each but did not include mirrors or covers. Add the cost of those and it was pushing $2K. I had just walked away from my desire of ever having folding mirrors.
My current old mirrors had the dirty right side memory so it didn't tilt correctly in reverse and it never returned to the standard driving setting once back in drive. The mirrors themselves had the lamination failures and showed the spots so I needed replacements and started looking online and that's where I found these kits.
My initial impression is they are worth the money, I am very pleased. I will wait a few months and make sure everything wears well before painting the covers. They really don't look bad or kick in my OCD with the matte finish so I am satisfied.
Here is the link to the seller if anyone is interested, I am impressed so far. Remember you will need to buy the drivers door window/mirror module to get the button for the folding mirror command. I bought mine off fleaBay for $60 last year.
