Dr Rick, thanks for sharing. What most people have questions on is the DSP system on some X5 vehicles and how the different android systems integrate into the factory DSP. You said your X5 is a 2003 has the business CD so no navigation but did you have DSP? The top right button on you old mid would have DSP next to audio. (image below)
Another question that gets asked is what models need the non nav cage cut out and which can be unbolted. We now can assume that 2003 and earlier needs to be cut. I will be doing my install next month and I have a 2004 so we can update that MY then.
Also, it would be helpful if you give your specific Eonon model number for reference later down the road as people install that same model.
