hmmmm will look into this as what I have on the other side on X5 is the bmw oem part that doesn't look the same as the expanding rivet you mention, ok its a screw after all i will plug in something else at the end of the day to stop the plastic flapping about PLUS on close analysis of the the identical side of the car under drivers area I see the same stains as on the other side where I thought there was an oil leak...could well have water that had not dried out....too much of a coincidence it being oil from the dipstick holder o-ring ending up on that side too...so apology is in order to all
