I found one off the beaten path. It wasn't posted long before I swooped in.
2002 BMW X5 4.6is Stage 3.
107k
Original owner has 20+ cars, purchased it new. Maintained 100% with
full records back to day one. Sold 5 years ago to his personal chef
who lives on his property with 90k on the clock, so in 5 years she drove it
17k miles. He had his personal mechanic service it after purchase. The owner and her husband bought new cars and had'nt driven the X5 in 6-7 months past cranking it and a short errand. Always garaged. Came with winter tires/wheels (new Blizzaks) and a perfect set of Style 87's with new rubber on all 4 as well. The seller liked the woodgrain better than the silver trim, so it has a dark wood trim in it now, but the full silver trim set down to the shifter knob came along with it. #score
It should be here Sat or Sun, hoping to detail it and get some pics up.
Reading up on the 4.6is models, looks like 3000 or 4000 were made in total.
Also they have bigger brakes than the 4.4 models, which is a nice +. I retrofitted 750 brakes to my 740 for some added stopping power, probably negated by the ceramic pads i went with that dont dust and dont stop as well as the super duster 5000 pads they come with.

Which X5 did you end up buying? I know the two of us were shopping at the same time. I ended up buying Schwaggen's car.
