Double check that you are not in transport mode as mine started the Zamboni imitation after trying to adjust the ride height and the resistor kept causing a cascade of shit that kept the CAN-BUS from allowing it to come out of transport mode. but worth a shot and to be honest you MUST use your ViN to order the resistor as there are set listed for your transmission that BMW has.

Realoem.com lists it for $33.10 USD but getting it here in Saudi Arabia jacked it up to 40 and six weeks of pissing off a very short very pregnant wife....
