From what I've read, to eliminate issues with the transfer case you can by disabling the dsc and if the problem goes away it's likely caused by the system malfunctioning at some point of the chain. If mine is off (it could just be the buttons on the dash that are not working as I've already had to repair the Hazzard and lock switch, so they could need looking at also). But if the system is off.. it shouldn't be causing bucking and kicking when you drive.. there's no abnormal noise from the transfer case either.. so no chain slap or slipping that's discernable. The rear end was just replaced.. whatever is going on is what killed the old rear end.
