My gauge sits straight up at 90C. If I jump on the throttle, the DME sends a signal to the heated thermostat and the temperature will drop as much as 10C. My gauge reflects that just as I would expect. It moves a little to the left. I now have a actual accurate gauge the way I want it. Plus, with my recommended hex code the red is now 115C and gives me more than enough time to shut it down if I have an overheating event long before the engine is hurt.
