I did it with them in place. I removed the airbox which gave me lots of room behind the drivers light. That lower right screw is a PITA. Came out easily enough and even was able to put it in my pocket (no abyss for that one). The passenger side I just moved that thing with the hose on it, don't even know what it is. Some emission component maybe? This side I did have one casualty. It fell on the way back in. When I finished I turned the lights on and only one worked...
. Then I realized I hadn't plugged that side back in.
. Rookie mistake. Anyway they both work now. Just waiting for darkness...
