No problem. Yep, expansion tanks I stick to Behr or OE.

BMW's seem to require ~$1000 a year in parts on average. Some years you spend next to nothing, just an oil change, wiper blades, etc. Other years you'll spend considerably more. This is just how it seems to work out for me after having owned e30's, e36's, e46's, e53's, and an e28. The e30's and the e28 were by far the cheapest when it came to maintenance. But they are considerably slower, less safe, and obviously don't have any real tech in them.
