Make sure all pulleys and accessories turn smoothly before you put the belt on. Very recently an xoutpost member had a frozen bearing on a new idler pulley and it melted pretty quick and self destructed and tore up the belt.
You know, I was hunting for this the other night when I was installing the PS pump and pouring over the schematics for it, in regard to a high pressure line bracket and this issue. The pump on this truck is the same as the 4.8 model, which doesn't have an adjustment angle.
