Nope. I kinda though that must be the case too, as I couldn't imagine these running on gasoline. But they do.
The units fitted to gasoline cars have a different burner but otherwise are pretty much the same.
As you will read in
alex_j's post, you can even convert a diesel version to gasoline by swapping the burner module....
