Definitely better tire options. Like 1000% better, lol. Unfortunately I have to stick with that tire as my fronts are still great and switching back to a 315 would require moving back to the factory size fronts as well. And since my wheels are wider I'm not sure I'd like the look. My tires have saved the wheels on multiple occasions due to the extra sidewall so I'll suck it up and buy the Pirelli's. I knew going into the wheel purchase I would be taking it in the shorts every time I needed to buy tires. I liken it to knowing your brake jobs are going to be insane if you upgrade to a BBK.
Does it make financial sense? Nope. But man do those wide/tall tires look good on there.
I'm not sure why all the negative reviews though, mine exceeded expectations for a performance tire. And I bought them used.
