I suggest you choose the aftermarket unit you want and then ask those that have the same unit/brand, the same year X5 without DSP. Otherwise you may well waste a lot of time getting to where you want to go or even damage the unit. I suggest a unit that has a US distributor that some here have had good results with tech support. The state of art evolves quickly so it is best to buy a unit that has just been introduced if that is the concern.
