Anyone dealt with P0192 in 3.5i

My 2013 3.5i went into limp mode this morning, scanned with ISTA/D and got 002BDA = Rail pressure sensor, electrical: Short circuit to earth. Which tells me it has a fault with the ground. Either a chaffed wire or the sensor itself is dying.

Question here is if anyone has dealt with this and which did it turn out to be? Grounding of a wire or did the fuel rail pressure sensor actually fail?

I'll be checking the wiring this weekend (weather permitting) and went ahead and ordered a new sensor just in case. But am hoping someone or a few someone's have had this happen to them too and can provide historical insight.
