Hi,
I am just sharing this website I found while researching the ZF6HP26. I mostly agreed with all that's written here, not bad information and could serve as good basic knowledge about the transmission. I did a solenoid kit/fluid service at 85K because of bad shifting also change the seals that connect the valve body to the clutches. I plan to keep this X5 for more years; next tranny fluid service is at 145K I might do the Zip kit that they talk in this post to keep it up to date. About 28K more to go till then.
