You need to check the Bosch part number of the donor module. Since you state that your X5 is a 2000, you will need to pull a module from a donor vehicle that was made before 09/2001 and has a similar Bosch part number. BMW part numbers will almost always differ from build date to build date, so it is best to go by Bosch numbers.


X5's built between 10/2001 and 10/2003 require a different module since the DSC and/or sensors operate differently than the early X5.
