I think I got gs-c first replace but went to a new model goodyear 3rd set (for better life span) thne to some pirelli all season high performance 4th set.

I happened into some original Dunlop winter tires when I bought my X5 and couldn't me more thrilled that it worked that way.

So many times I see people with all season tires slip sliding away where I can drive on horrible roads and it feels like there is an inch of powder.

Here's a video I took the other day where I backed out of a tight parking spot going over an ice covered curb.

The tire is grandtrek wt M3 Dunlop. 255 so not the best for winter I have an M2 set in 235 those are absolutely insane for winter driving!

They don't make grand trek anymore the sp winter sport replaced them, I'm not sure if the winter sport has the extra weight capacity and I'm having a hard time finding in run flat.

The tread pattern is almost the same and the compound is soft when cold which is apparently a critical component to winter tires vs all season that suck ass in winter.

Fortunately they still have 3d model of the wintersport even if old stock some places so the prices are much better than the 4d models.
